Family: an ex-wife. Brother Raymond. Sister-in-law Yelina Salas. Nephew Raymond Jr. Niece: Madison Keaton (daughter of Susie Barman) Deceased wife- Marisol Delko
Family History: He grew up in an abusive household. His father would constantly abuse his mother, him and Ray. Horatio ended up killing his father after he murdered his wife, Horatio's mom. For awhile he dated Yelina but they broke up and she started going out with Ray who was killed in a drug-buy gone bad just after 9/11. He found out the truth about Ray being dirty not long after he found out that he had, had an affair with Susie and fathered Madison. He met his wife Marisol when Eric was accused of buying marijuna which turned out to be for her as she was suffering from breast cancer and it eased the pain and nauses. She was later killed, not long after their wedding, by the Mala Nocah. Though not many people know it he is not straight but bi-sexual.
Work History: He started out his career in New York and was one of the youngest officers to become a Homicide Detective. When his partner become involved in a personal scandal that came out during a case. To salvage his partner's career Horatio moved to Miami Police Department and joined the bomb squad where he meet his friend Al. He released his true calling was the Crime Scene Investigators after he worked with them on a case. After he took control of the day-shift team he quickly became a Lieutenant where he showed himself as a thoughtful and courages leader of the shift.
Personality: He cares deeply for all the people in his life though his emotions rarely show they do come out from time to time. He believes that there is more to crime solver than blood spatter and DNA. Over science and instics he'll go with his instics when he has to protect his city and he'll stop at nothing to protect it.
Hobbies: He's a quite person and loves spending time by himself and his family. After work he likes to sit down with a beer and watch tv or read a book. His friends are close but he doesn't interact with them much outside work. He trusts them with his life and will do anything to defend them.
